Similar to operating a hotel shower, working some commercial laundry machines can be intimidating. Before diving into how each type of laundry machine works here’s a helpful checklist to consider before using any type of common commercial laundry machine.
Domestic machines cycle range from 15/18 minutes to 45 minutes. So you must set our timer at the longest setting to accommodate the machine. Those that are clever will try to run two short cycle on the coin timer and if they take too long between loads, our timer will cut off too soon, leaving a tub full of dirty rinse water. So the machine will eat up like 7 quarters and then like I mentioned the led screen will go back to $2.50 on the screen and you have to put $2.50 more before it lets you start either machine.??? Since it has a new board would this basically mean woody that there is either a bad wire or the coin slot is possibly bad and it need a new coin drop???
- Check for left behind clothes or coins and return to a lost and found
- Wipe down the inside of the machine with a disinfectant wipe to kill any germs left behind
- Smell inside the drum for bleach – some people overuse bleach and you don’t want to find that out after your wash cycle
Before selecting a unique cycle option, Speed Queen, Electrolux, UniMac, Wascomat, UniMac, Maytag and Whirlpool machines operate using a standard set of payment controls:
